  • A full diagnostic dyslexia assessment typically takes between 2 and 3 hours, depending on the individual's age and needs. The assessment includes a range of activities designed to explore areas such as reading, spelling, memory, processing skills and underlying cognitive abilities. We aim to create a relaxed and supportive environment, with breaks provided where needed.

However, exam access arrangements are awarded based on a range of evidence and must reflect the student's normal way of working in school or college. The final decision rests with the school, who must follow current JCQ regulations. If required, we can discuss exam access arrangements in more detail during your enquiry or feedback meeting.
