Ready, Steady, Shine

Step 1:
Connect

The connection between a child and their tutor matters. The first session will be aimed at relationship building through fun, interactive games. This is about starting their learning journey in a supportive environment.

Sessions are engaging, structured, and designed specifically for dyslexic learners, helping children strengthen literacy skills while building confidence.

Step 2:
Profile

If your child has recently had a diagnostic assessment with us, we’ll use this to guide their tutoring. If not, a Learning Profile will be completed during the first session.

This helps identify your child’s strengths and learning needs, allowing us to create a Personalised Learning Plan (PLP) that focuses on the skills that will make the biggest difference.

Step 3:
Sessions

The fun begins! With weekly sessions, we use a multi-sensory, structured, and cumulative approach, based on the science of dyslexic teaching. Sessions are taught by highly skilled dyslexia practitioners who have had training in dyslexia remediation.

Your child will also develop metacognitive skills to enhance their learning. After each session, you'll receive feedback, including photos and progress updates.

Step 4:
Review

After 20 hours of sessions, we’ll take a step back, revisit the Learning Profile, and see how far your child has come. We’ll share feedback, celebrate the wins, and keep pushing forward, making sure they’re on track to reach their full potential.
