Supporting your students reach their potential.
At Bourne Dyslexia, we work alongside schools to deliver professional, JCQ-compliant assessments for exam access arrangements (EAA) - ensuring students receive the support they are entitled to and that SENCOs feel confident, prepared, and backed by evidence.
Working Together to Secure Exam Access Arrangements.
At Bourne Dyslexia, we support schools across Bournemouth, Poole, and parts of Hampshire to deliver high-quality, compliant Exam Access Arrangements (EAA) in line with the JCQ 2024/2025 regulations. Whether you're a SENCO managing a large caseload or a school leader seeking additional capacity, we offer flexible, collaborative assessment models tailored to your setting.
We provide on-site cognitive assessments for one or multiple students and complete clear, JCQ-compliant Form 8s to help evidence need effectively. As outlined in the 2024/25 JCQ guidance, EAA assessors must hold relevant qualifications and work within a whole-school approach — a principle we fully embrace. All assessments are carried out by a fully qualified specialist assessor holding an active APC.
In addition to assessment, we can offer consultation with families of students who may be showing signs of specific learning difficulties, helping schools take a proactive, joined-up approach. Please enquire if you would like this as part of your service.
