We understand that not every family is ready to progress to a full diagnostic assessment.

That’s why we’ve teamed up with Talamo to bring you a dynamic, up-to-date dyslexia screener that looks beyond the basics and gives a well-rounded picture of how your child learns. The screener explores key areas such as:

  • Visual Ability – how effectively your child can interpret and use visual information.

  • Verbal Ability – their understanding and use of language.

  • Working Memory – the capacity to hold and work with information over short periods.

  • Processing Speed – how quickly information is taken in and worked through.

  • Phonological Awareness – sensitivity to the sound structure of language.

  • Reading Comprehension – understanding and interpreting written text.

  • Reading Speed – how quickly and accurately text can be read.

  • Spelling – the ability to spell words correctly.

Together, these insights give a clear picture of your child’s learning profile. You’ll receive a detailed report with home and school recommendations, followed by a consultation with Clare to talk through the results and next steps.

Our approach

Step 1:
Questionnaire

To get started, simply reach out to us and let us know you’d like to begin the screening process. We’ll send you a link to complete a short parent/carer questionnaire, and once payment (£110) is made, a magic link with a username and password will arrive for your child.

Step 2:
Screener

You’ll be given access to the Talamo screening portal for your child to complete their screener. A laptop or computer with speakers is needed (tablets aren’t compatible). It’s best done at home in a calm, comfy space, free from distractions, and takes around 45 minutes.

Step 3:
Report

Once the assessment is complete, you’ll receive a personalised report within a week, giving you clear insights and guidance tailored to your child.

Step 4:
Evaluate

This includes a 30-minute consultation to talk through the results in detail and answer any questions you may have.

If you choose to go ahead with a full dyslexia assessment, you’ll benefit from a 10% reduction on the assessment fee.
