Every year, hundreds of children in Bournemouth move up to secondary school without knowing they are dyslexic.  We want to bridge this gap by offering support for families who need it most.

Our way of levelling the playing field.

Local schools nominate children who would benefit the most.

For every £1 raised towards a dyslexia assessment, Bourne Dyslexia will donate an additional 20%. These contributions go directly towards funding assessments for children from less privileged backgrounds.

Each September, if enough funds are raised, a pupil premium child from a Bournemouth primary school will receive a free dyslexia diagnosis before they move into secondary school—helping to ensure no child is left behind.

3% Cover the Fee

Funds are ringfenced and go directly to pay for a child’s assessment.
